What is it?

 

The middle distance is with 1600+ m climb, start from the centre of Pirdop Village, Climb to the top of Balkan Mountain, and vicious climb at the “Morgue” with drop to the Elensko fest finish area.

Route description

 

Start from Pirdop, going north up to Pascal Hut. Note: you have to cross train tracks!

First checkpoint at 6 KM, make sure you have water tanks filled in.

Start up following the winter marks to checkpoint 2, turn left on the top of the mountain, going right.

Reach checkpoint 4 making an almost 180 degree turn back to the top on the “morgue” climb. 

Follow the pilons back to Pascal hut, turn right and finish in Elensko Area.

Transport to the start

There will be transport from the tent camp to the starting zone in the center of Pirdop.

Tent camp

You can set a tent in the tent camp, which wil be next to the fest zone and the finish.
